What an interesting exercise routine to explore. Pardon my ignorance, this is my first name being introduct to turkish get up. Especially I like the loose weight aspect of it. I will give a try.

The Turkish get up is a killer move. Plus, unlike a lot of kettleball routines, you don't need professional instruction to avoid injury. Just go for it!

I think the dilemma I'm having is not motivation, it's more to do with "what do I start with?" For example: There's a huge set of stairs that go from a main road all the way up to the top of a hill. It's a straight walk up the steps, they're more like sets of steps. I was thinking to start with those, maybe walk up and down three or 4 times each day to slowly build my respiratory and cardio. I think do this before I go into the gym and start weight and strength training is a good idea..

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

This article is right on. When my wife discovered she had diabetes I started on her low carb diet to make meal prep easier. Once I started the low carb diet, I immediately started seeing great results in my abs and over all weight loss. I'm not talking Atkins here just cutting out sugar and breads.
