Make sure you cheat

Cheater-s-Diet-Lose-Weight-by-Cheating-Smart-2A lot has to be said regarding diets, meals and training. However for those of us that are caught up in training and working hard at the gym and our lifestyles we some how forget to treat ourselves. No one should go without a cheat meal at least once a month.  Pay close attention to what I just said. Notice I said meal not day? Thats right just becuase you are training and getting into shape should not entitle you to stuffing your face with whatever your heart desires for a full day. However a cheat meal once a month would be a good idea. If not for your taste buds at least for your sanity.

Start by setting the actual day that you are planning on cheating. Personally I like to chose a weekend or rest day. The reason I do this is so the days that I am at the gym I dont feel like I am lagging due to the no purpose calories I have consumed. And personally I come from the school of thought that if you have just worked out then you should feed yourself immedeatly after with some calories that have substance to rebuild your muscles.

Remember that your cheat day is earned and well deserved and if you reward yourself in this manner then you are more likely to stick to your goals.
